Feburary 2025

We have received notification from Hotpoint and Indesit that a safety issues has flagged up in a small number of Hotpoint and Indesit branded gas cookers as a result of a component issue.

The issue relates to a potential risk of a gas leak from the lid shut-off valve following repeated product use over time affecting the batch produced between October 25 and November 22, 2024.

If you own one of the affected models, you must not use it. Hotpoint/Indesit will arrange to send a gas certified engineer to replace the affected component. That appointment will take approximately one hour.
